Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25th and we cherish this very special day.  Others however, celebrate or express their cultures in other ways during the same holiday season.  We encourage you to embrace your belief and faith and also learn what others celebrate.

Three Dads and a Christmas Tradition

No Santa Claus allowed in this house. Three dads have taken a stand by not teaching a lie when it comes to the true meaning of Christmas.  It’s important to Brian, Rolland and Tony, three African American fathers who are raising their children in San Diego.  According to Rolland, “It’s important that our children hear and learn the true meaning of Christmas from a very young age.” 

Why Occupy?

The traditional Norman Rockwell Thanksgiving holiday as advertised means spending the day with loved ones, enjoying a feast of family favorites and preparing for the Christmas holiday season.  Well this may be the tradition for perhaps 1% of the American population. And then there’s the other 99%.
